Weight loss success that will inspire every slimmer

LIKE many women, Smirti Kotecha didn't have a great deal of weight to lose. She just wanted to slim down by about half a stone or so. But she didn't want to diet because that way she knew she would feel deprived. So Smirti started listening to a Slimpod and after just a few days was amazed when she went  to buy her favourite cream cakes in the supermarket and found that something inside was stopping her.
Now, after just eight weeks, she has lost 9lbs and is feeling and looking great. She says her husband compliments her on changing her body shape and looking years younger. Not only that, Smirti's sister in Florida has also dropped a dress size with a Slimpod. Here, in her own words, is Smirti's real-life story...

“I have to be honest, I was a little bit sceptical at first when I started using my Slimpod. How could something that seemed so simple and easy help anyone to lose weight? It seemed a bit too good to be true.

“I listened to my Slimpod before I went to bed but after the first couple of days I didn’t really think it was working, as I didn’t notice any real differences in myself.

“Then I went to the supermarket to do my weekly shop. I always buy myself a box of cream cakes as a reward every Monday, but this time as I walked down the aisle to the bakery counter something seemed to be holding me back.

“I couldn’t believe it. I just didn’t want to go near the cream cakes! And guess what – nine weeks later I still haven’t bought one single cream cake.

“I have no idea how it works, I guess it must work subconsciously. All I do know is that something keeps stopping me from eating things that will be bad for me. It’s just amazing.

“My sister, who lives in Florida, started her Slimpod at the same time as I did and the last time I spoke to her on the phone she told me she has already dropped a dress size.
“Towards the end of the second week on my Slimpod I noticed that I felt much more energetic and alive. Instead of going to the gym once a week, I suddenly felt the urge to step it up to twice and three times a week.
“Now all my friends – and my husband, of course! – can see a real difference in my waistline. I wasn’t particularly big at the start, just a 31 waist, but after eight

weeks on the Slimpod I’ve lost two inches and it really shows.
“My weight has dropped by nine pounds to

9st 0lbs. Because I'm exercising more thanks to the Slimpod my whole body shape has changed as my muscles tone up. My husband compliments me on that and says I'm looking years younger.

"So you can see that Slimpods aren't just about weight loss, they're also about creating a new look.
“The amazing thing about the Slimpod is that it’s completely effortless. I don’t have to think about food, I don’t have to worry about what I eat or drink, everything just seems to happen without me doing anything at all.

“Slimpod is fantastic. I’m telling all my friends they must try it.”

I WAS on the radio this morning reviewing the papers for LBC and as luck would have it, one of the news items was this continuing debate on whether certain items of food and drink should be taxed because of their high fat or sugar content. My view is that this 'Fat Tax' is unworkable and impractica...
