Thinking Slimmer Delivery & Returns policy

WE'RE VERY SORRY THAT AT TIMES OF EXCEPTIONAL DEMAND OR

BAD WEATHER DELIVERY OF CDs MAKE TAKE A LITTLE LONGER

We have very clear policies on delivery options and returns. Our Number One policy, however, is that every member of our team must do everything they can to make sure that you are 100 per cent happy with your purchase.

We always put you first.

Delivery Policy and what to do if your order doesn't arrive within one week

Delivery of CDs is by Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA).  Please note that FBA do not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays. We offer two delivery options:

Fast delivery

We give your order priority same-day handling if the order is placed before 6pm and the following day if placed after that time. Delivery is normally within 1 to 2 working days but please note this is not a guaranteed next-day service. Orders placed on Fridays after 2pm, Saturdays or Sundays are sent out by FBA for delivery on the following Monday, so may not arrive until the Tuesday.  Cost: £5.99.

First class delivery

Allow one day for handling then delivery is normally within 3 to 5 working days. Normal cost is £2.99 but see special promotions in the store for current charges. For February 2012 delivery is £2.99p per order.

Orders placed before 2pm Monday-Friday will normally be processed that day. Orders placed after 2pm on Fridays or at any time on Saturdays or Sundays will be processed by FBA and sent out for delivery by Royal Mail on the following Monday, and then can sometimes take a further three days to arrive.

CD deliveries only available to UK addresses

We're sorry, but CDs bought from our website can only be delivered to UK addresses. Products bought from anywhere else in the world are only available as MP3 downloads. If you live in an EU country, you may be able to order CDs through Amazon.co.uk

Apart from bank holiday times, our CDs are always delivered within seven working days of you placing an order. However, because of their size, CDs can sometimes go missing in the post. If your order has not arrived within seven working days, please immediately email CustomerService@ThinkingSlimmer.com or call our order line on 020 7760 7596 and we will check what has gone wrong and put it right.

Returns Policy

Our aim is to make every single one of you happy. We promise we will do our very best to solve any problems as soon as we possibly can.

Our 28-day returns guarantee

Our 28-day returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 28 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 28 days unless they are faulty.

MP3 downloads cannot be returned after purchase and refunds for downloads cannot be given under any circumstances. If you are experiencing a technical issue with an MP3 download from ThinkingSlimmer.com, please contact CustomerService@ThinkingSlimmer.com.

What to do if you have a complaint

If your complaint is about an item which is damaged, defective or incorrect, please email CustomerService@ThinkingSlimmer.com giving your name, address and contact telephone number along with details of the problem. One of our team will phone you as soon as possible during working hours (Mon to Fri 10am to 6pm, except bank holidays) to try to help. Our customer service team are often on duty late at night dealing with inquiries from around the world but we cannot guarantee you will receive a response out of normal business hours.

Please note that we are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect. We test every item that is returned. If our test centre finds that a returned item is not faulty we will return the item to you and you will be liable for the postage. This will not exceed £5. We advise you to check any CD on a second machine. We will not refund postage on any item found to be in good working order.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

To ensure the safe return of your items and the correct allocation of the items to your account, please follow the guidelines below:

You must include the payslip (the original or a copy) or a piece of paper with the name of the person who ordered the items, the order number and the reason for the return. The address to where the item is to be returned is:

               Thinking Slimmer,

               PO Box 673,

               Pinner,

               Middlesex

               HA5 9LU

               United Kingdom

Please use the FBA cardboard box and any other original packaging where possible to return the item.

If you no longer have the FBA cardboard box, please include the name of the person who ordered the items and your invoice number, which you can find in the My Account page.

I WAS on the radio this morning reviewing the papers for LBC and as luck would have it, one of the news items was this continuing debate on whether certain items of food and drink should be taxed because of their high fat or sugar content.
