How you can look as good as Felicity Kendal does

DROPPING A DRESS SIZE DOESN'T HAVE TO MEAN HARD WORK IN THE GYM

I was sorry to see Felicity Kendal say goodbye to Strictly Come Dancing. For a lady in her early sixties she’s in fantastic shape and a great advert for the benefits of regular exercise.
We’d all like to look as good as “Flexible Felicity” one day, wouldn’t we? In the papers  she makes it clear her youthful looks have nothing to do with cosmetic surgery.
“I’m afraid the bad news, girls, is that you’ve got to do the work in the gym. Doing Strictly I have definitely dropped a size but what happens is that you tone up.
“So you lose a size but what happens is you get muscle instead of everything else.”
Sorry to contradict you, Felicity, but it doesn’t have to be like that. Losing a dress size and toning up your body definitely doesn’t necessarily have to involve working out hard in the gym all the time. Or dancing all day with Vincent Simone.
Many of the ladies who use our Slimpods and Fitpods are reporting back fantastic results with hardly any effort at all. Just look at our Success Stories section and you’ll see what I mean.
Everything we do is exercise. Just walking more, being a little more vigorous with the housework, playing longer with the kids, is going to tone your muscles and give your heart and lungs a healthy workout.
Our Fitpods have been specifically designed to retune your mind to see modest exercise as a joy not a chore. You’ll be surprised how quickly this becomes a happy habit!
At the weekend one of my clients said: “I haven’t noticed any difference on the scales yet but my clothes are certainly feeling looser already.” That’s the thing about getting in shape – too many people assume it’s about losing weight fast.
In fact, it’s about feeling good about yourself, looking good and being comfortable and confident. Once all that happens, the weight loss follows naturally.
Fabulous Felicity certainly has every reason to feel good about herself, doesn’t she!

I WAS on the radio this morning reviewing the papers for LBC and as luck would have it, one of the news items was this continuing debate on whether certain items of food and drink should be taxed because of their high fat or sugar content. My view is that this 'Fat Tax' is unworkable and impractica...

I picked up a great weight loss tip from a Slimpodder on our forum tonight and just had to share it.
