It's so easy to download and use your Slimpod,

just follow these simple instructions

Scroll down for tips on downloading to your mobile phone

We’ve made downloading a really simple process. Once you buy a Slimpod, it sits in your own personal area of our website called My Account, where it is protected by your password.

You'll find My Account on any page of our online store but only if you have logged in as a

member. The picture below shows you where you'll find My Account on the store pages.

When you go into My Account you'll see this Dashboard (pictured below). Your Slimpod can be found by clicking on the words My Downloads.

This is what you’ll see when you go to My Downloads (pictured below). Don't worry, the page has full instructions on it. When you’re ready to start using your Slimpod, just click on its name in the right hand column and it will automatically download on to your PC or laptop. A single Slimpod with a bonus track will normally take about 40 seconds to download, depending on your broadband speed. A Slimpod Plus, which can contain four or five tracks, will normally take up to two minutes to download fully. Please be patient, it's worth waiting for!

A Slimpod consists of an introduction, which lasts about two minutes and which you only need to listen to once; the main recording, which you need to listen to for 21 days in a row and then for as long and as often as it takes to achieve your goal; and many of them have a bonus track.

Below is what you will see when you open up the folder on your desktop.

Downloading the MP3 files on to your phone

Once the files are on your PC or laptop you can transfer them to your MP3 player or phone in the normal way. Don't try to transfer the whole folder in one go, just transfer each of the files one by one for the best results. If you have any problems please email CustomerService@ThinkingSlimmer.com with a phone number we can reach you on and we'll help.

We don't recommend that customers download directly from our system on to their MP3 player or phone, but to download on to their PC or laptop first. This is because the Digital Rights Management software we use to protect our files restricts the number of times it can be copied.

Normally it's very easy to download a Slimpod into iTunes and then on to an iPhone or iPod. When you download the MP3 file from us on to your computer it will usually open automatically in iTunes (some customers have to drag and drop the file instead).

Then when you connect your iPhone or iPod to your computer look at the column of links on the left of the iTunes screen where it has your library, playlists, recently purchased etc. You will see the icon for your device.

Click on that icon and you will see the preferences for loading. One of the tabs will say Music. Under that will be a line saying either Recently Added or Recently Purchased. There you will see the Slimpod file.

Select that file and then hit the Sync button. It shouldn't take more than 30 seconds to copy across each file (the introduction file may take only 15 seconds).

I WAS on the radio this morning reviewing the papers for LBC and as luck would have it, one of the news items was this continuing debate on whether certain items of food and drink should be taxed because of their high fat or sugar content. My view is that this 'Fat Tax' is unworkable and impractica...
