The science behind the Slimpod and the mind

How listening for 10 minutes a day creates a remarkable change

in your eating habits and how you feel about yourself…

A Slimpod is a 10-minute recording of the voice of Trevor Silvester, creator of a technique known as WordWeaving which uses language in a special way to gently retune your unconscious mind to think differently about food and exercise and the way you feel about yourself. For many people it is having a remarkable effect on their eating habits and their confidence and self-esteem.

Why is the unconscious mind important? Because it is responsible for most of what you do and feel every day. Listening to a Slimpod works like a guidance mechanism, retuning your unconscious mind to change your habits.

Scientists have proved that repetition for 21 days is necessary for a new habit to become ingrained in the neurological pathways of the brain. During the first 21 days of your Slimpod you’ll probably notice surprising differences in how much you want to eat, how much more you want to do and the way you feel about yourself.

Once these changes have become a habit, you’ll be able to achieve easy and lasting weight loss by continuing to listen to your Slimpod. It’s important that you keep listening to your Slimpod for as often and as long as it takes for you to achieve your weight loss goal.

The truth is that trying to achieve a slimming goal by conscious willpower alone is an uphill struggle – but you can probably remember a time when something that you set your mind on suddenly clicked, and achieving it seemed effortless. That’s an example of your unconscious mind getting behind you and supporting your endeavour.

A Slimpod  primes your unconscious mind to bring to your awareness the things you want to feel and the way you want to behave with food, adjusting your feelings about appetite etc. It’s a bit like retuning a TV so that it no longer picks up the fat channel because it’s tuned to “slim” TV.

A lot of money has been spent on discovering how to influence our unconscious – mainly by advertisers wanting you to buy things. Now Thinking Slimmer’s experts have taken their specialist knowledge of the science of unconscious persuasion and are using it for your benefit.

IT’S always nice when someone else does your work for you. But I wasn’t expecting Slimming World to be so open about how disappointing its results are for many people.   SW forked out a lot of money to track the progress of 1.3 million dieters going to its weekly classes ov...
